When she was a model as a child, she won critical acclaim when she played the leading role in Louis Malle's film Pretty Baby (1978). She continued modeling into her teens and appeared in several dramas throughout the 1980s such as The Blue Lagoon (1980) and Franco Zeffirelli's Endless Love (1981). He also played the role of Matt "FletchFletcher" Fletcher in Wentworth. Jeffery was born in Auckland and moved to Australia when he was an adult. He then was a student at NIDA.
