Anna Silk is a Fredericton native and the child of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had many talents, including being able perform, direct, produce, write plays, teach, and be director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's dad is from Britain, and her mother was an Turkish Cypriot English expat. She remembers watching her mother work at play rehearsals. Anna was featured in a variety of advertisements as a kid. Anna was transferred to Toronto in November of 1999, in order to continue her acting career. She eventually settled down to Los Angeles (California) over the following decade. Seth Cooperman met Anna at a Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. The couple got engaged. Anna changed her religion to Judaism in the month of January, 2011, and they renewed their vows at a Jewish wedding in Fredericton. Bo and Lauren's romance (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) has been featured on CNN's most-loved television couples list. The couple was also recognized by E! as the top couple on TV in 2013.
