Lowe hosted two hours of live programming in the FA Cup Quarter Final broadcast on ESPN UK in March 2012. The broadcast was telecast when Bolton's Fabrice Muamba, a player in the midfield with Bolton FC, fell ill with cardiac arrest while playing on the pitch. In the evening Lowe was interviewed by every UK important news channel. Lowe hosted the FA Cup Final live for an entire six hours from Wembley Stadium in May 2012. She was the United Kingdom's first female journalist to host the event. Lowe had previously worked for Setanta Sports, as both a journalist and a host. She was the host of the groundbreaking coverage for Football Conference from Setanta Sports between 2007 and 2009. She also co-hosted Football Matters the Setanta's Premier League studio program.
