Jillian Noel Shennessy born 25th November, 1968 in Canada is a Canadian actor and singer that was honored for her outstanding contribution for American television. She's famous for her outstanding performances on the American television show Law & Order where she was awe-inspiring for the viewers over three seasons as prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan wherein she played the protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy also showed off her acting skills in films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. She also produced and wrote these movies. Hennessy started her career as an actress in Dead Ringers with her sister. The actress starred in Broadway for the Broadway musical Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story during the year 1990, and then entered the world of science fiction in 1993 playing Doctor. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. In the fall of that year, she joined the cast for the NBC hit crime drama Law & Order in the character of assistant district prosecutor Claire Kincaid. Her performance captivated viewers in the part for three seasons, until her departure in the year 1996. Parker received the Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her role as Proof in the musical Proof on Broadway.
